Privacy Policy Last updated: July 30, 2026 Loud Unicorn LLC ("we," "us," "our") built CallerBingo. This policy explains what data CallerBingo collects, why, and how it is handled. 1. What Data We Collect and Why Game Session Data: - Player display name — the name you type when joining, broadcast to nearby devices so the host can see who is in the room. Not stored by us. - Card state and called numbers — your bingo card, which squares you have marked, and the caller's history. Exchanged between devices in the room and held on your device. - Custom word lists — if you build a custom word bingo card, the words you type are stored locally on your device. Local Network Play (peer-to-peer): - When you host or join a nearby game, the called numbers, card state, and bingo detection is exchanged directly between the devices in the room over Apple's MultipeerConnectivity framework (Wi-Fi or Bluetooth). This traffic is device-to-device. It does not pass through our servers and it is not stored anywhere off-device. - Your device broadcasts the display name you enter so nearby players can find and identify your session. Local Device Data: - App preferences and settings — stored locally via UserDefaults - Win pattern and caller speed settings — stored locally - Subscription and purchase status — whether you have unlocked paid features, verified locally via Apple StoreKit 2 2. What We Do NOT Collect - We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, or government-issued identifiers - We do not collect advertising identifiers (IDFA/IDFV) and do not use advertising SDKs - We do not sell or share data with advertisers or data brokers - We do not use analytics SDKs (no Firebase, Amplitude, or Mixpanel) - We do not use crash reporting services - We do not access your location, camera, microphone, contacts, or photo library - We do not operate game servers and there is no internet multiplayer - We do not have an account system or login 3. Where Your Data Lives Everything is stored locally on your device. Group play is device-to-device over Apple's MultipeerConnectivity framework and does not pass through our servers. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data including custom word lists. 4. Third-Party Services - Apple MultipeerConnectivity — direct device-to-device connections for nearby multiplayer. No data is routed through our servers. Requires local network permission, which iOS asks for the first time you host or join. - Apple StoreKit 2 — purchase and subscription processing. Apple handles all payment data. We receive only anonymized transaction receipts. - Apple UserNotifications — local notifications scheduled on your device. Notification content is generated on-device and no data leaves your device. We do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking libraries. 5. Children's Data CallerBingo is not directed at children under 13. It is commonly used at family and community events where children may play on a parent's device. Data Retention and Deletion - Local data: retained on your device until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app - Subscription and purchase records: managed by Apple 7. Security Data is protected by iOS application sandboxing and, if you have a device passcode set, by iOS data-at-rest encryption. Because nothing leaves your device, there is no server-side attack surface. 8. Changes to This Policy Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance. 9. Legal Basis for Processing - Contractual necessity (Art. 6(1)(b)): Broadcasting your chosen display name over the local network is required to join a bingo room. - Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): Local network permission and notification permission are requested explicitly and can be revoked in iOS Settings. 3. Your Rights Under GDPR Right of Access (Art. 15): All of your data is visible inside the app. We hold no server-side copy, so there is nothing for us to disclose. Right to Rectification (Art. 16): Edit or correct your data directly in the app. Right to Erasure (Art. 17): Delete items inside the app, or uninstall the app to remove all local data. Right to Restriction (Art. 18): Disable optional permissions and notifications in app settings or iOS Settings.
