Couples Court · updated June 24, 2026
Terms of Service Last updated: June 24, 2026 ──── 1. About Couples Court Couples Court is a couples dispute-resolution app that lets romantic partners submit a household disagreement, each plead their case in 30 words or fewer, and receive a final verdict from an AI judge. The app includes rotating generalist judges, specialist judges by case type, blind plea submission, case history, winner flags, optional appeals, optional AI jury trials, and optional pre-agreed consequences for the losing partner. Couples Court is for entertainment, reflection, and lighthearted accountability between partners. It is not a real court, legal service, therapy service, mediation service, or relationship counseling service. Couples Court is built by Loud Unicorn LLC. 2. Who Can Use Couples Court Couples Court is intended for users aged 13 and older. By using the app, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the app and agree to these Terms. 3. Binding Verdicts Between Partners IMPORTANT: Couples Court verdicts are binding only as an in-app relationship agreement between the partners using the app. They are not legally binding court orders, arbitration awards, contracts, or enforceable legal judgments. Loud Unicorn LLC does not enforce verdicts, consequences, appeals, jury outcomes, household obligations, chores, payments, apologies, or any other real-world action. By using Couples Court, you acknowledge and agree that: - The app is an entertainment and relationship accountability tool only - AI judges and AI juries are not real judges, lawyers, therapists, mediators, or counselors - Verdicts are final within the app unless an appeal or jury trial feature is available and used - Couples Court will always name a clear winner for each verdict, but that winner has no legal status - Any consequence you and your partner agree to is your own voluntary arrangement - Loud Unicorn LLC has no obligation to monitor, verify, enforce, or resolve any dispute between partners 4. Permitted Uses - Submit household disputes with a case title - Let each partner plead their case in 30 words or fewer - Use blind plea submission so one partner cannot view the other partner's plea until both are locked in - Receive AI judge verdicts with a short explanation of why the app ruled that way - View case history, docket entries, verdicts, and winner flags - Use credits for extra same-day cases, appeals, jury trials, and paid features where available - Use the consequences feature only for voluntary, lawful, and mutually agreed relationship accountability 5. Prohibited Uses - Reverse engineering, decompiling, or tampering with the app - Manipulating device time, local storage, CloudKit sync, purchases, credits, case limits, streaks, or winner records - Using the app in ways that violate Apple's App Store Guidelines - Using the app for any unlawful, abusive, harassing, threatening, coercive, or unsafe purpose - Submitting private information about third parties without permission - Using verdicts or consequences to control, intimidate, exploit, shame, or punish a partner - Representing Couples Court verdicts as legal rulings, professional advice, or enforceable dispute resolutions 6. Judge and Jury System Couples Court includes AI judges with different roles, including rotating generalist judges and specialist judges for different case types. The app is designed so the same judge does not appear twice in a row when judge rotation is available. Judge availability, names, personalities, specialties, and rotation rules may change in future versions. Couples Court may also offer a paid jury trial feature. A jury trial uses five AI agents with distinct personalities, life experiences, and educational backgrounds. Each agent delivers an independent verdict, and the side receiving at least three of five votes wins. Jury trials are for entertainment and relationship accountability only and are not legal proceedings. 7. Case Tracking The app tracks disputes, pleas, verdicts, winners, appeal status, jury outcomes, docket history, and related case details locally on your device and, when partner sync is enabled, through Apple CloudKit/iCloud. Loud Unicorn LLC does not certify the accuracy of case records, winner flags, streaks, credit balances, or docket history. Case history is for personal reference only and has no monetary or legal value. 8. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases Couples Court may offer in-app purchases, subscriptions, credit packs, paid appeals, paid jury trials, extra same-day cases, and paid access to features such as consequences. Purchases are processed by Apple's App Store (StoreKit) and subject to Apple's terms. Credit Packs: Couples Court may offer credit packs, including packs such as $1.99 for 3 credits, $4.99 for 10 credits, and $9.99 for 25 credits. Pricing, credit quantities, availability, and eligible uses may change. Credits may be used for features such as appeals, jury trials, extra same-day cases, or other paid features shown in the app. Appeals and Jury Trials: Appeals may cost credits and may allow an extended plea of up to 300 words plus one image as evidence. Jury trials may cost credits or be offered as a separate purchase. A purchase does not guarantee that the app will rule in your favor. Auto-Renewal Disclosure: If Couples Court offers an auto-renewing subscription and you subscribe, your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your Apple ID will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings at any time. Canceling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period. Free Trials: If a free trial is offered, unused time in a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Only one free trial per Apple ID is permitted. Refunds: All purchases are processed by Apple. We do not process refunds. To request a refund, contact Apple Support directly. 9. Apple's Standard EULA In addition to these Terms, your use of Couples Court is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), available at: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ If there is a conflict between these Terms and Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA prevails. 10. No Guarantee of Relationship Outcome Couples Court is an entertainment and relationship accountability tool. We do not guarantee that using the app will resolve disputes, improve communication, reduce conflict, change behavior, create fairness, or produce any specific relationship outcome. The app is NOT a medical device, therapy service, counseling service, legal service, or mediation service. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical, psychological, emotional, relationship, or legal condition. The app is not a substitute for professional therapy, counseling, legal advice, mediation, crisis support, or medical advice. 11. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.
