Last updated: 2026-08-09 PRIVACY POLICY: DETAILER PRO LOG This privacy policy explains what data Detailer Pro Log collects, how it is used, and where it is stored. DATA COLLECTED AND STORED ON YOUR DEVICE Detailer Pro Log is designed to work offline-first. All of the following data is collected and stored locally on your device only: - Vehicle information (make, model, year, license plate, vehicle identification number, customer name, phone number, email address, and notes about condition) - Service records (service date and time, labor hours spent, tasks performed, materials used, costs, descriptions of work completed) - Labor tracking data (stopwatch recordings, hourly rates configured, tax calculations) - Material costs (prices for chemicals, wax, additives, and other products you use) - Custom service menu entries (labor tasks and material items you create for your workflow) - Generated invoices (PDF documents and itemized service records before sending) - Photos or customer notes attached to individual service records All of this data remains on your device by default. It is not sent to our servers or any cloud service unless you explicitly request it. DATA SENT FROM YOUR DEVICE When you generate and send an invoice via email or text message, the following occurs: - The invoice content (customer name, vehicle details, services performed, labor hours, materials, total due) is formatted into a PDF document - The invoice is transmitted to a third-party email or SMS delivery service provider - That provider delivers it to the recipient's email address or phone number you specify - We do not store or retain copies of sent invoices on our servers The email and SMS providers may process metadata (recipient addresses and send times) according to their own privacy policies. We do not control or access that data. PAYMENT AND SUBSCRIPTION Detailer Pro Log uses a paywall to unlock full features. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store using Apple's StoreKit framework. We do not collect, store, or access your payment card information—Apple handles all billing and payment data. Your subscription status is stored locally on your device and verified periodically with Apple's servers. ANALYTICS AND TRACKING Detailer Pro Log does not collect analytics, crash reports, usage data, or behavioral telemetry. We do not track which features you use, how often you use the app, or any interaction patterns. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION You control all data stored on your device. If you delete the app, all locally stored data is deleted from your device. We maintain no server-side copies of your data to delete. If you use iCloud backup, your service history and customer information may be included in that backup according to Apple's iCloud backup policies. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES Detailer Pro Log integrates only with: - Apple StoreKit (for subscription management and payment) - Email and SMS delivery providers (only when you request to send an invoice) We do not use third-party analytics services, advertising networks, or data brokers. CALIFORNIA CONSUMER PRIVACY ACT If you are a California resident, you have the right to access and delete your personal information. Detailer Pro Log does not sell or share your data.
