Terms of Service Last updated: April 21, 2026 1. About PillBridge PillBridge is a medication tracking and family confirmation app designed for seniors and their adult family caregivers. The person taking medications logs their medications, sets reminders, and confirms doses. Their family member or helper pairs via a shared connect code and receives quiet confirmation or an alert if a dose is missed. The app also supports Apple Watch dose tracking, medication history, and (for Premium subscribers) escalating reminders and unlimited history. 2. Who Can Use PillBridge PillBridge is intended for users aged 17 and older. By using the app, you confirm that you are at least 17 years old. The app is designed for a medication-taker and their consenting adult family member or caregiver. You may not pair with someone without their full knowledge and explicit consent. IMPORTANT — NOT MEDICAL ADVICE: PillBridge is a personal organisational tool only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any decisions about your medications. Do not rely on the app as a substitute for professional medical advice. The app is not intended to replace a pharmacist, physician, or any other healthcare provider. 3. Permitted Uses - Track your own medications, doses, and adherence history - Set daily medication reminders with optional escalating notification chains (Premium) - Store emergency health card information for your own personal reference - Pair with a family member or caregiver via a connect code to share medication confirmation status - Export your medication history as a PDF for personal or medical-appointment use - Add notes to dose logs for caregiver communication - Track pill counts and receive refill reminders - View and mark doses as taken from the Apple Watch companion app 4. Prohibited Uses - Pairing with someone without their explicit knowledge and consent - Using the app on behalf of another person without their explicit authorization - Providing, selling, or sharing medication records as part of any commercial medical, clinical, or insurance service - Storing prescription data on behalf of others without their explicit consent - Misrepresenting app-generated data as official medical records, clinical notes, or prescriptions - Using the app as a sole system of record for clinical or legal purposes - Reverse engineering, decompiling, or tampering with the app - Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the app or its infrastructure - Using the app in any way that violates applicable law 5. Family Pairing and Consent Both parties must actively set up the app and enter the shared connect code for a connection to be established. You represent that your family member or caregiver has consented to pairing and to receiving notifications about your medication status. Loud Unicorn LLC is not responsible for misuse of the pairing feature. 6. Apple Watch PillBridge includes an optional Apple Watch companion app. The Watch app displays today's doses and allows you to mark doses as taken. The Watch app requires the iPhone app to be installed and paired to function. Functionality depends on WatchConnectivity availability and may not work if the iPhone is not reachable. 7. In-App Purchases PillBridge offers optional Premium subscriptions processed through Apple's App Store (StoreKit 2). Current pricing is displayed on the Premium upgrade screen within the app and on the App Store product page. Premium features include: escalating reminders (follow-up notifications at 15, 30, and 60 minutes after a missed dose), unlimited medication history, and unlimited family member connections. Optional one-time tip purchases are also available to support development. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings at any time. No refunds are issued for unused portions of an active subscription period except as required by applicable law. The Restore Purchases feature is available to reactivate a subscription on a new device. 8. Not a Medical Device PillBridge is not a certified medical device and has not been evaluated, cleared, or approved by the FDA, CE, or any other regulatory authority. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, monitor, or prevent any disease or health condition. Do not use the app to make clinical decisions. 9. Disclaimer of Warranties PillBridge is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant: - That the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time - That medication reminders will be delivered at any specific time or at all - That CloudKit family sync will function without delay or interruption - That the app will be compatible with all iOS versions or device configurations Network connectivity, iOS notification settings, iCloud availability, and device power management (e.g. Low Power Mode) all affect reminder and sync performance. You are solely responsible for ensuring your medications are taken correctly and on time. 10. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Loud Unicorn LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for: - Any missed medication doses or adverse health outcomes arising from use of or reliance on the app - Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages - Any loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption Loud Unicorn LLC's total aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of PillBridge shall not exceed the total amount you paid to Loud Unicorn LLC in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $10.00 USD, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for certain types of damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. 11. Indemnification You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Loud Unicorn LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of PillBridge; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party rights. 12. Intellectual Property PillBridge, the PillBridge name, logo, and all associated content are owned by Loud Unicorn LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the app beyond a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use PillBridge on your personal Apple devices in accordance with these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms. 13. Termination We may suspend or terminate your access to PillBridge at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Sections 9, 10, 11, 12, and 14 survive any termination. 14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of PillBridge shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona. You consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts. If you are a consumer located in the EU/EEA, you may also have the right to resolve disputes through your local consumer protection authority or through the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr). 15. Severability If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. 16. Entire Agreement These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Loud Unicorn LLC regarding PillBridge and supersede all prior agreements and understandings. 17. Changes We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via an in-app notice or by updating the "Last updated" date above.
