Terms of Service Last updated: July 30, 2026 1. About ScreenBudget ScreenBudget treats screen time like an allowance instead of a fight. Each child gets a daily budget of minutes. Minutes they do not spend roll into a weekend bank they can save up and spend. Chores can earn bonus minutes. The framing is a bank balance a kid wants to grow, not a blocker a kid wants to beat. ScreenBudget is built by Loud Unicorn LLC. 2. Who Can Use ScreenBudget ScreenBudget is intended to be set up and used by a parent or guardian aged 18 or older. A child may view their own balance on the parent's device. Children do not create accounts. 3. Permitted Uses - Add child profiles with a first name and a daily minute allowance - Set up one device to enforce one child's allowance - Choose which apps and categories count toward the allowance - Log screen time against a daily budget - Roll unspent minutes into a weekend bank - Define chores that earn bonus minutes - Review daily and weekly history 4. Prohibited Uses - Entering information about a child you are not the parent or guardian of - Setting up enforcement on the device of someone who has not agreed to it - Presenting the app as content filtering or monitoring, which it is not - Reverse engineering, decompiling, or tampering with the app - Automating or scripting interactions with the app - Sharing paid features with users who have not purchased them - Using the app in ways that violate Apple's App Store Guidelines 5. What Enforcement Can and Cannot Do ScreenBudget pauses the apps you select, on the device you set it up on, when the day's minutes run out. Understand the limits of that: It only works on the device it is installed and configured on. Apple does not let an app restrict a different phone remotely. Setting ScreenBudget up on your own phone does not limit your child's phone. It only affects the apps and categories you choose. Anything you leave out stays available. It is not content filtering, not location tracking, and not monitoring. It cannot tell you what your child looked at. A determined child may still find ways around any Screen Time based limit, as with Apple's own controls. ScreenBudget is a way to make an agreement visible and automatic, not a security system. 6. Family Pro ScreenBudget is free for one child with a daily limit. An optional auto-renewing subscription adds additional children, the weekend rollover bank, chore bonus minutes, and the parent dashboard. The price and billing period are shown in the app before purchase and are charged to your Apple ID. Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period. Your Apple ID account will be charged within 24 hours prior to renewal. Managing Subscriptions: Cancel anytime in iOS Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future billing but does not refund the current period. Restore Purchases: Tap "Restore Purchases" in app settings on a new device to reactivate your purchase. Refunds: Handled by Apple. Contact Apple Support. We do not process refunds directly. 7. Apple's Standard EULA In addition to these Terms, your use of ScreenBudget is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ 8. Disclaimer of Warranties ScreenBudget is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that: - Counted minutes will be exact, since iOS reports usage in steps rather than continuously - Apps will always pause at the precise moment an allowance runs out - A child cannot find a way around a Screen Time based limit - Balances or history will be preserved indefinitely - The app is free from bugs or errors 11.
