Terms of Service Last updated: April 24, 2026 1. About SpellDuel SpellDuel is a head-to-head word game. Both players see the same set of letters and race to build the highest-scoring valid word before the timer runs out. Longer words and rarer letters score more points. Speed is the tiebreaker. Rounds are fast — most are over in under 60 seconds. 2. Who Can Use SpellDuel SpellDuel is intended for general audiences aged 4 and older. By downloading the app, you agree to use it in accordance with these Terms. 3. Permitted Uses - Play SpellDuel head-to-head with friends or family - Access included game modes and any unlocked content - Use the app on your personal Apple devices 4. Prohibited Uses - Using automated tools, scripts, or bots to submit words - Reverse engineering, decompiling, or tampering with the app - Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the app - Using the app in any way that violates applicable law - Distributing, reselling, or sublicensing the app or its content 5. Word Validity SpellDuel uses a curated word list to determine valid plays. Loud Unicorn LLC does not guarantee that every valid English word is included. Disputes about word validity are resolved by the app's word list, not by external dictionaries. 6. In-App Purchases SpellDuel may offer optional one-time purchases or premium content processed through Apple's App Store (StoreKit 2). Current pricing is displayed within the app and on the App Store product page. Purchases are processed by Apple. No refunds are issued except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policy. The Restore Purchases feature is available to reactivate purchases on a new device. 7. Disclaimer of Warranties SpellDuel is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. 8. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Loud Unicorn LLC's total liability for any claim arising from your use of SpellDuel shall not exceed the amount you paid to Loud Unicorn LLC in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $10.00 USD, whichever is greater. 9. Intellectual Property SpellDuel, the SpellDuel name, logo, and all associated content are owned by Loud Unicorn LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use SpellDuel on your personal Apple devices. 10. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona. 11.
