Last updated: 2026-08-05 PRIVACY POLICY FOR BUNCO Bunco is an offline-first dice game with optional iCloud sync for statistics. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. DATA WE COLLECT Bunco collects minimal data: Game History and Statistics: When you play, the app records game results, player names (you provide), scores, and game outcomes. This data is stored entirely on your device by default. The app uses no login, no account creation, and no user ID. You play as yourself, locally. iCloud Sync (Optional): If you enable iCloud sync in Settings (an iOS system feature you control), game statistics are encrypted and synced to your personal iCloud account via Apple's iCloud service. This includes: player names, game history, scores, and game stats. You can disable this sync at any time in iOS Settings > [App Name] > iCloud. Disabling sync deletes your synced stats from iCloud but does not delete stats stored on your device. Cosmetic Purchases: When you purchase optional dice or table cosmetic packs ($1.99 each), the purchase is handled entirely by Apple's App Store. We receive no payment information. Apple stores your purchase history and may sync it across your devices using your Apple ID. App Store Purchase: Your $3.99–$4.99 one-time purchase is handled by Apple's App Store. We do not receive your payment details or identifiers related to payment. The purchase unlocks full game features on your device. DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT Bunco does not: - Require account creation or login - Collect or use your personal information (name, email, phone, location) - Serve ads or contain any advertising network SDK - Use analytics or tracking SDKs - Use third-party analytics services - Collect device identifiers or advertising identifiers - Sync data to our servers (only to your iCloud account, which we do not access) - Share data with third parties THIRD-PARTY SERVICES Bunco uses only standard iOS frameworks (Apple's core services). It does not integrate third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, or user tracking. Game state and statistics are managed entirely by iOS's native Core Data and CloudKit frameworks. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY Bunco is suitable for all ages and contains no content that violates children's privacy laws. Because Bunco collects no personal information, requires no account, and syncs only to the user's own iCloud account (which they control), it is compliant with COPPA and similar regulations. YOUR RIGHTS You control all data in Bunco: - Game data on your device can be deleted by uninstalling the app or using iOS Settings to clear app data - iCloud-synced data can be disabled in iOS Settings; existing synced data can be deleted by Apple's iCloud management interface - You are not required to use iCloud sync; local play is the default DATA RETENTION Game data and statistics are retained for as long as you use the app. If you uninstall the app, local data is deleted. iCloud data follows Apple's iCloud retention policies. If you disable iCloud sync, Apple retains data per its standard iCloud policies (typically 30 days after disabling sync before permanent deletion). CHANGES TO THIS POLICY We may update this policy if Bunco's features change. Updates will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
