Last updated: 2026-08-22 CHORECIONS LEDGER PRIVACY POLICY ChoreCoins Ledger does not require an account, does not sync your data to our servers, and does not sell your information. DATA WE COLLECT ChoreCoins Ledger collects only the information you enter into the app: - Child profiles: name, emoji avatar, current balance, and optional savings goal - Chores: name, coin value, recurring schedule, and completion history - Transactions: type (Chore, Bonus, Spent, Adjustment), amount, date, and description - Parent PIN: encrypted locally on your device - App settings: notification preferences, time picker selection, appearance mode (System/Light/Dark) - CSV exports you create are generated locally; we do not receive copies All of this data lives only on your device. We do not transmit, store, or access your child's profile, balance, chores, or transaction history. The app functions completely offline. PERMISSIONS ChoreCoins Ledger requests the following permissions only for the features you use: - Notifications: to send approval reminders and transaction alerts. You control which notification categories are enabled (Approvals, Reminders, Digests) independently in Settings. Disabling one category does not silence the others. - Local Storage: to save your data on your device THIRD-PARTY SERVICES ChoreCoins Ledger uses Apple's standard frameworks (App Store, iCloud Keychain, local notifications, haptics) and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. In-app purchases and the premium paywall are processed through Apple's App Store. Apple receives your transaction details as part of processing payment. We do not receive or store your financial information. DATA SECURITY Your data is protected by your device's local encryption. The parent PIN is stored encrypted on-device. If you restore from an iCloud backup, your ChoreCoins Ledger data moves with the backup; if you switch devices without a backup, your data does not transfer—it exists only on the phone where you entered it. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY ChoreCoins Ledger is designed for parents and children in the same household. Parents control what children see via the PIN lock. We do not collect or transmit any information about children to external services. The app does not use location, contact data, or any identifier beyond what you enter manually. DATA DELETION All your data is stored locally on your device. Deleting ChoreCoins Ledger from your phone permanently deletes all child profiles, chores, balances, and transaction history.
