Last updated: 2026-08-05 CHORESSNAP TERMS OF USE ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS By accessing and using ChoreSnap ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of those changes. LICENSE GRANT ChoreSnap grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not sublicense, sell, rent, lease, transfer, or otherwise provide access to the App to third parties. This license terminates immediately upon violation of these terms or discontinuation of your subscription. PERMITTED AND PROHIBITED USES You agree to use ChoreSnap only for its intended purpose: tracking household chores and managing allowance through photo verification. You may not: - Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the App's source code - Use the App for commercial purposes or to operate a service competing with ChoreSnap - Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App - Remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices or labels - Use the App in violation of any applicable law or regulation - Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, its servers, or connected systems - Submit false, fraudulent, or inappropriate photographs or chore records - Harass, abuse, or threaten other users - Transmit malware, viruses, or any code intended to disrupt the App CONTENT AND LIABILITY You retain ownership of photographs you submit to ChoreSnap. By submitting photos, you grant us a license to store, display, and process them solely for chore tracking and allowance management purposes. We do not claim ownership of user-submitted content. We are not responsible for disputes between parents and children regarding chore approval, photograph authenticity, or allowance decisions. The App is a tool to facilitate communication; final determination of task completion rests with parents. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP. SUBSCRIPTION AND PAYMENT ChoreSnap operates on a subscription basis. Payment terms, cancellation policies, and refund eligibility are governed by the App Store's terms. We are not responsible for billing disputes; contact Apple Support for App Store payment issues. GOVERNING LAW These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
