Last updated: 2026-08-05 PRIVACY POLICY — INDEPENDENT ADJUSTER DOCUMENTATION This privacy policy explains what data Independent Adjuster Documentation collects, how it is used, and where it is stored. DATA COLLECTION When you use Independent Adjuster Documentation, the app collects the following: Photos: You capture photographs of property damage room by room. These photos are stored entirely on your device. Voice Recordings: You record voice tags to annotate damage observations. Voice transcription occurs on your device using Apple's built-in speech recognition. Neither the audio files nor transcriptions leave your device. Room Measurements: LiDAR measurements taken via Apple's RoomPlan framework are stored on your device only. These measurements are used to map damage locations to specific rooms. Damage Categorization Data: Tags, labels, and damage classifications you assign (water, wind, hail, fire, etc.) are stored on your device. Generated Reports: PDF reports compiled from your photographs, measurements, and annotations are created and stored locally on your device. Device Identifiers: To manage your subscription, we receive your Apple ID and device identifier from Apple's App Store. We do not track or profile your usage. ON-DEVICE STORAGE All data listed above — photos, voice recordings, measurements, tags, and reports — remains on your device by default. The app is designed to function completely offline. Your data persists locally using standard iOS file storage and the app's local database. CLOUD BACKUP AND SYNC If you enable backup features in a future version of this app, such features will be clearly marked as optional. You will be asked to explicitly consent before any data is uploaded to our servers or third-party services. As of this release, no such features exist. SUBSCRIPTION AND PAYMENT Subscription charges are processed through Apple's App Store. Apple handles billing and payment information. We do not receive or store your credit card data. Your subscription status is verified with Apple to unlock app features. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES This app uses Apple's native frameworks only: RoomPlan for LiDAR measurement and Speech Recognition for voice transcription. No third-party analytics, tracking, or data aggregation services are integrated. We do not use Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or equivalent platforms. DATA DELETION Because your data is stored locally on your device, deletion is under your control. Uninstalling the app removes all associated data from your device. You may also manually delete projects, photographs, or recordings within the app at any time. LEGAL COMPLIANCE We comply with Apple's App Store Privacy guidelines. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. We do not use your data for marketing or behavioral advertising. If you are subject to HIPAA or other regulatory frameworks that govern damage documentation, you remain responsible for ensuring your use of this app complies with those frameworks. This app does not provide HIPAA business associate agreements. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY If we add cloud features or third-party integrations in the future, we will update this policy and notify you in the app before any changes take effect.
