Last updated: 2026-08-20 CLONE — Glitch One-Time Privacy Policy CLONE applies visual filters to photos and videos on your device. This policy explains what data we collect and how we handle it. Data We Collect We collect minimal data. Specifically: - App analytics: Apple collects standard usage data about how you interact with the app (which features you use, crash reports, performance metrics) through their App Analytics service. We do not collect or store this data ourselves. - In-app purchase: When you purchase the one-time unlock, Apple processes the transaction and provides us with confirmation that the purchase was made. We do not store payment information; Apple handles all payment processing. - App preferences: Your settings (RGB color drift slider position, scanline intensity, noise level, date/time overlay customization) are stored only on your device. These are not sent to our servers. - Device identifiers: We do not collect your device ID, IDFA, or unique advertising identifiers. - Personal information: We do not require or collect your name, email, phone number, location, or any other personal information to use CLONE. What Happens On-Device All photo and video processing happens entirely on your device. When you apply the VHS filter, adjust scanlines, enable RGB drift, add analog noise, or customize the date/time overlay, this processing occurs locally. Your photos and videos are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party service. When you export edited media to your Photos library, that action is handled directly by your device. Camera and Photos Access CLONE requests permission to access your camera and Photos library because the app's core function is to process images and videos. You control these permissions through iOS Settings. We do not collect data from your photos; we only apply filters to media you explicitly choose to edit. Third-Party Services CLONE uses only standard Apple frameworks (Camera, Photos, AVFoundation). We do not integrate third-party SDKs, analytics libraries, or ad networks. Apple's in-app purchase system is used for the paywall. Data Retention Since processing happens on-device and we do not store your media, photos, or videos, there is no retention period. Your app preferences persist locally until you delete them or uninstall the app. Your Rights You can delete all your app data by uninstalling CLONE. iOS allows you to disable camera and Photos permissions in Settings > Privacy at any time.
