Your notes, text blocks, handwritten input, and canvas layouts stay entirely on your device. We do not sync to cloud servers, do not sell your data, and do not track your note content. Data We Collect and Where It Stays All notes you create, including text, handwritten strokes, layers, positions, colors, and timestamps, are stored exclusively on your iOS device in the app's local database. This data never leaves your phone or tablet. We do not collect, access, store, or transmit the content of your notes. Data We Send to Apple When you purchase the premium ad-free mode through the App Store paywall, Apple processes your payment and provides us with a receipt for verification. This receipt transaction is handled by Apple's App Store servers, not by us. We store only a local record that your purchase is valid; we do not send your payment details to our servers. CLONE — StickySnap Notes uses Apple's standard analytics framework (App Store Connect analytics) to understand app usage patterns in aggregate. This includes anonymous counts of app launches, crashes, and performance metrics. No personal identifiers are included. Data You Control You can export any note or your entire canvas as a PDF directly from the app. This export happens on your device only. Any shared or sent PDF is under your control—we do not access, track, or retain copies. You can delete all app data by uninstalling the app. Reinstalling the app will not restore your notes. Device Permissions CLONE uses the following iOS permissions: - Camera or microphone: Not used. - Photo Library or Files: Only if you manually select to import an image as a canvas background. - Apple Pencil: Used for detecting pressure sensitivity and stroke input. No pencil data is logged or sent anywhere. Third-Party Services We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection SDKs. The app uses only Apple's own frameworks for crash reporting and app analytics. Children's Privacy This app is not directed to children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use this app. If a parent or guardian discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us immediately. Changes to This Policy We may update this privacy policy occasionally to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements. We will update the "Last updated" date and post the new policy in the app or on our website. Continued use of the app after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
