Last updated: 2026-08-04 PRIVACY POLICY — CONQUIAN / COON CAN Conquian is a premium, offline-capable card game app. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, where it stays, and how we use it. WHAT WE COLLECT Game Statistics We store your game history, win/loss records, and statistics locally on your device. This includes: games played, games won, opponent names (in pass-and-play), game length, and rule variant selected. This data is never sent to our servers unless you opt in to iCloud sync (see below). Game Settings and Preferences We store your local preferences: difficulty level, language preference, accessibility settings (large cards, high-contrast mode), theme, and sound settings. These remain on your device only. iCloud Sync (Optional) If you enable iCloud sync in Settings, your game statistics are encrypted and synced to your iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit framework. This sync is optional—you can disable it anytime, and your data will no longer sync. Apple controls access to your iCloud data; we have no direct access to it. Game Center Multiplayer If you use Game Center for pass-and-play or local multiplayer, your Game Center profile information (name, photo) is used by Apple's Game Center framework. We do not store or access this data directly. Multiplayer data stays on your device or Game Center's servers. RNG Seed For provably fair shuffles, we display the random number generator seed used for each game. This seed is derived from the device's secure random number generator and is stored only with the individual game record (locally, or synced via iCloud if enabled). Crash Logs If the app crashes, we may collect error information to diagnose and fix bugs. These logs are not sent to us automatically; they remain on your device unless you choose to share them. WHAT WE DON'T COLLECT - No location data - No camera or microphone access - No contact list, calendar, or photo library access - No third-party ad networks or tracking SDKs - No analytics platforms (no Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.) - No behavioral tracking across apps - No identifiers beyond what Game Center provides (and you control) - No purchase history beyond your App Store receipt (handled by Apple) THIRD-PARTY SERVICES We use only Apple's native frameworks: - CloudKit (optional iCloud sync, controlled by you) - GameKit (optional Game Center multiplayer) - StoreKit 2 (paywall and subscription management, handled by Apple) We do not integrate third-party SDKs for analytics, ads, or telemetry. Your privacy is built into the app, not outsourced. DATA RETENTION Data stored locally on your device remains there until you delete the app or clear app data. Data synced to iCloud persists in your iCloud account until you disable sync or delete your iCloud backup.
