Last updated: 2026-08-05 PRIVACY POLICY — COOP KEEPER LITE Coop Keeper Lite is designed to be used entirely on your device. This privacy policy explains what data the app collects and how it is handled. DATA COLLECTION Coop Keeper Lite collects the following information: Coop and Bird Information. You can create multiple coops and add individual chickens to each. The app stores coop names, chicken names, breeds, and identifying notes that you enter manually. Egg Production Logs. When you log egg counts, the app records the date, number of eggs, which coop they came from, and any notes you add. This data is stored only on your device. Health Logs. You can record health observations including symptoms, affected birds, dates, and notes. All health tracking data remains on your device. Bluetooth Door Opener Settings. Configuration data for your Bluetooth-enabled coop door, including pairing information and schedule settings, is stored locally on your device. Checklist Completion. Your daily feeding and water check completions are recorded locally as part of your activity history. Photos. You can attach photos to your feed logs. These photos are stored in your device's local file system. CSV Export Data. When you export production logs to CSV format, that file is created locally on your device and saved to your local file storage. No export data is sent to any server. WHAT DATA STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE All data collected by Coop Keeper Lite remains on your device at all times. The app requires no login, account creation, or internet connection to function. We do not sync, upload, or send your coop data, chicken information, production logs, health notes, photos, or Bluetooth door settings to any server or cloud service. Your data is yours alone. WHAT DATA IS NOT COLLECTED Coop Keeper Lite does not collect your location, contacts, calendar, health data (from the Health app), or any personally identifying information beyond what you voluntarily enter about your coops and chickens. We do not use analytics, behavioral tracking, or crash reporting services. We do not serve advertisements. LOCAL NOTIFICATIONS The app may send you local notifications for your daily checklist reminders and Bluetooth door schedule alerts. These notifications are triggered by timers and schedules running on your device. No notification data is sent to external servers. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES Coop Keeper Lite uses only Apple frameworks and standard iOS services. Payment processing for the app's paywall feature is handled by the Apple App Store using Apple's StoreKit framework. Apple's privacy policy governs payment data and App Store transaction information. The app does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or data-sharing SDKs. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION You control all data in Coop Keeper Lite. You can delete any entry, coop profile, or attachment at any time. If you uninstall the app, all associated data stored on your device will be removed (depending on your device's settings for app data backup). CHANGES TO THIS POLICY We may update this privacy policy to clarify our practices or reflect changes to the app. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the app after changes constitute your acceptance of the updated policy.
