Last updated: 2026-08-05 PRIVACY POLICY — ESTATE SALE PRICING TOOL OVERVIEW Estate Sale Pricing Tool helps you photograph items, record voice descriptions, and retrieve price recommendations based on eBay comparable sales. This policy explains what data we collect, where it is processed, and how it is stored. WHAT WE COLLECT Photos: When you photograph an item in the app, the photo is stored on your device. Photos remain on your device unless you enable multi-pricer sync, in which case photos are encrypted and uploaded to our servers so other team members can access the same sales. Voice descriptions: When you record a voice description, the audio is transcribed on your device using Apple's built-in speech recognition. Only the resulting text transcription is retained; the raw audio file is not saved. The text is stored on your device unless you enable multi-pricer sync, in which case it is encrypted and synced to our servers. Item category, price range, and supporting comparables: These are generated on your device. The underlying eBay price data we retrieve comes from eBay's public sold listings API; we do not store this data beyond the recommendations shown in the app. Sale information: Item details, notes, pricing history, and price tags within each sale are stored on your device. If you enable multi-pricer sync, this sale data is encrypted and synced to our servers. Account and subscription data: Your email address, subscription tier (solo pricer, company, or per-sale), payment method (via Stripe), and account creation date are stored on our servers to manage your subscription and sync permissions. Device information: We collect your app version and device model for crash reporting and feature analytics, not for identifying you personally. ON-DEVICE VS. SYNCED DATA On-device only: All photos, voice transcriptions, item categories, and price recommendations stay on your device by default. You can use the app entirely offline; the offline queue allows you to photograph and describe items without internet, then sync later. Synced to servers (when multi-pricer sync is enabled): Photos, voice transcriptions, sale organization, and pricing history for your sales are encrypted and uploaded so other team members on your account can view them. This sync is necessary for collaborative pricing. Server-only data: Account email, subscription status, and payment history are stored on our servers to administer your account. Sync settings and permissions are also stored server-side to manage team access. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES We use Stripe to process subscription payments. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data. We retrieve eBay sold listings data via eBay's public API. We do not store or cache eBay data; prices are fetched fresh for each search. We use Apple's on-device speech recognition framework for voice transcription; no audio is sent to Apple or third parties. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION Photos, transcriptions, and sale data remain on your device indefinitely until you delete them. If you delete the app without backing up, all local data is lost. If you disable multi-pricer sync or remove yourself from a team, synced data is deleted from our servers within 30 days. If you cancel your subscription, your account is marked inactive. Synced data is retained for 90 days in case you resubscribe, then deleted. You can request complete account deletion by contacting support; we will delete all server data within 14 days. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY We may update this policy to reflect new features or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes via email.
