Last updated: 2026-08-05 PRIVACY POLICY — LIAR'S DICE This privacy policy describes what data "Liar's Dice" (also known as Perudo or Dudo) collects and how we handle it. DATA WE COLLECT Game Statistics Your game history and statistics (wins, losses, rounds played, etc.) are stored on your device. If you enable iCloud sync in Settings, these statistics are synced to your iCloud account so you can access them across your devices. This sync is performed using Apple's CloudKit framework. Game Preferences Your preferences for rules, house rules, cosmetic choices, and accessibility settings (including large-text mode) are stored locally on your device. These settings may also sync via iCloud if you enable sync. Dice Rolls All dice rolls are computed locally on your device. Each roll uses a visible seed that you can inspect to verify fairness. No roll data is sent to our servers. In-App Purchases When you purchase the full game unlock or optional cosmetic packs, the transaction is processed by Apple through StoreKit. We receive notification that a purchase occurred, but we do not receive payment information—Apple handles all financial data. Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID and is governed by Apple's privacy practices. Accessibility Data Your accessibility preferences (text size, visual adjustments) are stored locally and may sync via iCloud. DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT We do not collect: - Your name, email, phone number, or other personal identifiers (unless you contact us) - Location data - Device identifiers beyond what iCloud requires for sync - Behavioral analytics or tracking data - Crash reports or diagnostic data (unless you opt in through iOS Settings) - Any data related to gameplay beyond the statistics you see in the app ON-DEVICE VS. CLOUD STORAGE All game logic, AI computation, and dice rolls stay entirely on your device. The only data that leaves your device is game statistics and preferences if you have iCloud sync enabled. iCloud data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. We do not operate our own servers or databases. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES This app uses only Apple frameworks (CloudKit for iCloud sync, StoreKit for purchases, Accessibility APIs). We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. YOUR RIGHTS You can delete all app data by uninstalling the game. You can disable iCloud sync at any time in Settings, which stops new data from syncing while preserving your local statistics. Your iCloud-synced data will remain in your iCloud account unless you delete it through Apple's iCloud settings. If you have an iCloud account, you can request all data associated with it through Apple's privacy portal. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY We may update this policy. Changes will be posted with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
