Last updated: 2026-08-05 PRIVACY POLICY FOR MILESTONEMAP BABY This privacy policy explains how MilestoneMap Baby ("the app") collects, uses, and protects your data. DATA WE COLLECT Milestone Observations: The app collects milestones you log, including the type of milestone (e.g., "rolled over," "said first word"), the date observed, and any notes you add. Photos: If you attach photos to milestone observations, the app collects and stores these images. Child Profile Information: We collect the child's name, birth date, and any profile details you provide (gender, health notes, etc.). Usage Data: The app tracks which features you use within the app (milestone viewed, milestone logged) to improve functionality and identify crashes or errors. Subscription Status: If you subscribe to the Full plan, we verify your subscription through Apple App Store receipt validation. DATA STORAGE AND SYNCING All milestone observations, photos, and child profile data are stored exclusively on your device. This data does not leave your device unless you explicitly choose to use export or sharing features. PDF Export: When you generate a shareable developmental portfolio as a PDF, the app temporarily processes your data to create the document. The PDF is stored on your device. You control whether to share it via email, iCloud, Messages, or other services—we do not receive or store copies of exported PDFs. Pediatrician Share Sheet: When you use the pediatrician share sheet, you control which data is included and how it is shared. We do not receive or store any shared data. Subscription Verification: Apple's App Store verifies your subscription status. We do not store subscription data on our servers; verification happens through Apple's receipt validation system. Crash Reports: If the app crashes, Apple's standard diagnostic system may collect technical data (device model, iOS version, app version) to help us identify and fix bugs. This data is sent to Apple, not to us, though we can review aggregated crash reports through App Store Connect. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES MilestoneMap Baby does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The app uses only Apple's native frameworks for core functionality. DATA YOU CONTROL You may delete the app at any time, which removes all local data from your device. You can also delete individual milestones, photos, or child profiles within the app. We do not have access to your data and cannot retrieve it for you. Your data belongs to you. LEGAL BASIS (EU/GDPR) If you are in the EU, we process your data based on your explicit consent (by using the app). You have the right to access, delete, or request a copy of your data. Since all data is stored locally on your device, you control these functions directly. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY MilestoneMap Baby is designed for parents and guardians to track their children's development. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children. Parents and guardians control all data input. POLICY CHANGES We may update this policy. Changes will be noted with an updated "Last updated" date.
