Last updated: 2026-08-05 TERMS OF USE — QUICKGUARD FAMILY SETUP These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the QuickGuard Family Setup application ("App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the App. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS You must be at least 18 years old or have legal authority to accept these Terms on behalf of your family. Parents or guardians represent that they have the authority to consent to this App's use by minors in their household. By using the App, you accept all terms and conditions stated herein. LICENSE GRANT We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App solely for personal, non-commercial family setup and device management purposes. You may not sell, rent, lease, distribute, or sublicense the App or its features. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the App's source code. SUBSCRIPTION AND PAYMENT The App includes a free setup wizard for initial device configuration. Ongoing schedule management and remote pause functionality via widget require a $2.99 monthly subscription. Subscription fees are charged to your Apple ID account and renew automatically until canceled. You may cancel anytime through App Store settings. No refunds are issued for unused subscription time except as required by law. PROHIBITED USES You agree not to: - Use the App for illegal purposes or in violation of laws or regulations - Attempt to access features you have not purchased or are not entitled to - Use the App to monitor devices without proper consent from all adult users - Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security or parental control features - Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code through the App - Harass, threaten, or harm minors or adults DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We make no representations regarding accuracy, reliability, or suitability for parental control purposes. Device configuration success depends on network conditions, device compatibility, and user setup. We do not warrant that the App will function without interruption or that all setup steps will complete successfully. We are not liable for device malfunction, data loss, or configuration failures resulting from App use. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use the App, even if advised of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed $100 or the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months, whichever is less. PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY This App is a setup tool, not a comprehensive monitoring system. Parents and guardians remain solely responsible for supervising their children and maintaining appropriate family boundaries. We do not guarantee the App will prevent all inappropriate device usage. CHANGES TO TERMS We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
