Last updated: 2026-08-05 PRIVACY POLICY — ROYAL FAVOR Royal Favor is a local multiplayer card game for groups playing in the same room. This policy describes what data is collected, where it is stored, and how it is used. CORE PRINCIPLE Royal Favor has no backend servers. All game data stays on your device. We do not track players, require accounts, or share information with third parties. WHAT WE COLLECT AND WHERE IT STAYS Game Data: When you play Royal Favor, the app stores the following on your device only: player names you enter during gameplay, game scores, game results and history, your tutorial progress, and your expansion pack selections. This information never leaves your device. It is deleted when you uninstall the app. Room Codes: To enable play between devices in the same room without internet, Royal Favor generates temporary room codes. These codes are exchanged locally using Apple's MultipeerConnectivity framework (peer-to-peer technology). Room codes are not sent to any server and are not stored after the game session ends. In-App Purchases: When you purchase Royal Favor or expansion packs, Apple processes the transaction on its servers. Royal Favor does not collect, store, or access payment method information, card details, or Apple ID data. Apple handles all payment information according to Apple's privacy policies. We receive only a notification that a purchase succeeded. Crash Reports: We do not collect crash logs or error diagnostics. WHAT WE DON'T COLLECT Royal Favor does not: - Collect analytics about your gameplay - Track how often you play, for how long, or what you play - Collect device identifiers, IDFA, or hardware information - Collect location data - Access contacts, photos, files, or media on your device - Require you to create an account or login - Include advertisements or advertising networks - Integrate analytics, tracking, or telemetry SDKs - Share data with third parties WHY THIS DESIGN Royal Favor is a social game for people sitting together. One person buys the game; everyone at the table plays. There is no commercial reason to track players or build behavior profiles. Privacy is a feature, not an afterthought. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES USED Royal Favor integrates only Apple's system frameworks: - MultipeerConnectivity: peer-to-peer game synchronization without internet - App Clips: enables guests to join without installing the app - StoreKit: processes purchases through the App Store These frameworks are subject to Apple's privacy policies. We add no third-party SDKs. CHILDREN UNDER 13 Royal Favor is not intended for children under 13. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. Parents who believe their child has shared information with us should contact us immediately. POLICY CHANGES If this privacy policy changes, we will update the date above.
