Terms of Service Last updated: August 5, 2026 1. About Spades Spades is a digital version of the classic four-player partnership trick-taking card game. Two teams of two sit across from each other, each player bids the number of tricks they expect to win, and spades are always trump. The app includes solo play against AI partners and opponents, nearby multiplayer over a local network, online multiplayer through Game Center, and a daily challenge in which every player receives the same deal. Spades is a traditional card game in the public domain. Loud Unicorn LLC does not claim ownership of the game of Spades, its name, or its rules. These Terms cover this app only. 2. Who Can Use Spades Spades is intended for general audiences aged 4 and older. By downloading the app, you agree to use it in accordance with these Terms. 3. Permitted Uses - Play Spades solo against AI, with nearby friends over local multiplayer, or online through Game Center - Access included game modes and any unlocked content - Use the app on your personal Apple devices 4. Prohibited Uses - Reverse engineering, decompiling, or tampering with the app - Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the app - Interfering with other players' games, including manipulating multiplayer traffic - Using the app in any way that violates applicable law - Distributing, reselling, or sublicensing the app or its content 5. In-App Purchases Spades offers an optional one-time purchase (Spades Plus) processed through Apple's App Store. Spades Plus unlocks additional rule options and removes the daily limit on online games. Current pricing is displayed within the app and on the App Store product page. Purchases are processed by Apple. No refunds are issued except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policy. The Restore Purchases feature is available to reactivate purchases on a new device. 6. Multiplayer Conduct Nearby and online multiplayer let you play with other people. You are responsible for the display name you choose and for your conduct toward other players. We do not moderate multiplayer sessions and we do not store their contents. 7. Availability Nearby multiplayer requires devices on the same local network. Online multiplayer requires an internet connection and a Game Center account. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of Apple's Game Center service. 8. Disclaimer of Warranties Spades is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. 9. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Loud Unicorn LLC's total liability for any claim arising from your use of Spades shall not exceed the amount you paid to Loud Unicorn LLC in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $10.00 USD, whichever is greater. 10. Intellectual Property The Spades app, its source code, artwork, and interface design are owned by Loud Unicorn LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on your personal Apple devices. 11. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona. 12.
