Last updated: 2026-08-05 PRIVACY POLICY FOR TONK / TUNK Tonk is a card game. It does not track you, does not sell data, and does not require an account. DATA ON YOUR DEVICE When you play Tonk, the app stores the following on your device only: - Your game statistics (total games, wins, losses, average scores) - Your settings and preferences (chosen AI difficulty, rule variant selections, accessibility preferences, volume/haptic feedback settings) - Your current game state (in-progress games you've started but not finished) This data remains on your device unless you explicitly enable iCloud sync. ICLOUD SYNC (OPTIONAL) If you enable iCloud sync in Settings, your game statistics and settings are encrypted and synced to your iCloud account. This is done using Apple's standard CloudKit framework. You can disable sync at any time; existing data remains on your device and new data is not uploaded. Your iCloud data will not be shared with us or any third party. GAME CENTER (OPTIONAL) If you use Game Center to play pass-and-play or local multiplayer, you may choose to sign in with your Apple ID. Game Center data (leaderboards, achievements, match history) is managed by Apple, not by us. We do not access, store, or transmit your Apple ID or Game Center profile. WHAT WE DO NOT COLLECT Tonk does not: - Collect or store your name, email, phone number, or any personal information - Use analytics, crash reporting, or user tracking software - Show advertisements - Use third-party advertising or data collection SDKs - Require an account or login - Connect to external servers (except iCloud, which you control) - Collect information about which rule variants you choose or how you play PURCHASES When you purchase Tonk or its optional cosmetic packs (card-back designs, table-felt options), the purchase is processed through Apple's App Store. We do not receive your payment information; Apple handles all billing. We do not store your purchase history or link it to any identity. CHILDREN Tonk does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has used Tonk, no personal data has been collected. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY If we update this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and notify you in the app. Your use of Tonk after changes take effect means you accept the new policy.
