GameCaptcha ("we", "us") is operated by didyu. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use GameCaptcha, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

2. Information We Collect

• Account data: Email address and hashed password when you register.
• Purchase data: Transaction records including email and amount paid, processed by Stripe. We do not store raw card numbers.
• Usage data: API verification requests (site key, timestamp, pass/fail outcome). We do not log end-user IP addresses or personal identifiers from your visitors.
• Cookies: A session cookie to keep you logged in. No advertising or tracking cookies.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Service (deliver embed codes, verify tokens).
• To process payments and send purchase receipts.
• To contact you about your account or service changes.
• To detect and prevent abuse of the API.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. End-User Data (Your Visitors)

When your visitors complete a GameCaptcha widget, we receive only the game outcome (pass/fail) and a timestamp. We do not collect, store, or process any personally identifiable information from your end users. No fingerprinting, tracking pixels, or behavioral profiling.

5. Third-Party Services

• Stripe: Handles payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• MongoDB Atlas: Stores account and purchase records in encrypted form.
• Vercel: Hosts the Service. Vercel may collect server logs including IP addresses per their privacy policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and purchase records for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us.

7. Security

Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Data in transit is encrypted via TLS. We implement reasonable security measures, but no system is perfectly secure.

8. Your Rights

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
